Calvin Chai is Of Counsel to the firm and has been practicing law in the State of California since 2007. He represents clients in civil litigation as well as non - litigation matters. Calvin Chai has experience in the areas of business litigation, probate litigation, trade secrets, and personal injury litigation. Calvin Chai is also a registered patent attorney authorized to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has experience in patent prosecution and trademark laws.
While attending law school, Calvin served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Suzanne H. Segal (United States District Court for Central District of California) and for the Honorable John E. Ryan (United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California). Calvin drafted orders and memoranda for a wide variety of cases ranging from commercial litigation, civil rights, and consumer and business bankruptcy matters.
Calvin Chai graduated from Cornel Law School in 2007. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information and Computer Science from University of California, Irvine in 1998. Calvin Chai is fluent in Chinese and Taiwanese.
